I’ve added it to my toolbox usb drive.

You do need to be carefull with this as it is a scripted removal tool. Wrongly used and it could ruin your day

For a detailed description of its use you need to read the tutorials that Fred has posted http://www.carifred.com/uvk/forum/viewforum.php?f=6

Also check out where it has been used, to see it in action http://www.carifred.com/uvk/forum/viewforum.php?f=8

I agree with essexboy.

The common user should not mess with the “UVK Scripts” as something unwanted may occur to their PC. As with OTL, you should always make sure you are doing the right things in your script before you give it to the minor.

I also agree with essexboy’s comments, these tools really should be used under guidance…

Even more so when some of the malware doing the rounds has to be removed in a specific order. using a sniper rather than a shotgun approach.

Well we have to know that this is an automated removal tool consisiting of bundled anti malware tools. Under certain circumstances the automated removal routine could do more harm than good, also depending on what kind of malware cleansing should be performed. The normal user has no way of deciding when to use these combination of malware cleansing scripts and when not to. This should be decided by a qualified removal expert who has been trained to guide malware cleansing routines without doing further harm. As was with hijackthis, and comboscript and freefixer etc. cleansing should always be performed under guidance of trained qualiffied removers,
