Getting messages from avast that it is blocking anythicago. There might be one more similar to it but that hasn’t came up in the last 3 hours so I might have gotten rid of it. Attached are the scan logs.

OK the alerts were probably present on reboots and when you returned from sleep. Could you confirm that they have now ceased
None have shown up yet. Typically how long should I keep an eye on this before I know for sure? From what used to be on this laptop to this last item it has been a struggle and I really appreciate the avast software and your help with this last hurdle.
I saw somewhere some instructions on “cleaning up tools” afterwards that I believe you posted for someone but cannot find it right now. If you have a few moments can you paste them in here for me please. Everything is still clean.
essexboy always remove the tools used, you just have to be paitient and wait for him to be back online

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:
Remove tools
Download and run Delfix
Select the options as shown

click Save
Click Open folder
Right click on the Unchecky_setup and choose to Run as Administrator
Once open click the Install button.

Unchecky is now installed and will help you keep unwanted check boxes unchecked, this is a fire and forget programme
