Anything I need to know using SSD with Avast Free

Hi all

Got my first ssd drive for my 8 core desktop, is there anything I should know about when I setup avast free?

See FAQ section for info

Just install it like on normal HDD. That’s it.

I have 3 fully SSD powered systems, all running avast! for few years now. Works fine out of the box.

Yes, I too have it installed on my Primary SDD (secondary 1TB HDD)on my win10 laptop and no issues.

Just got concerned being my first ever SSD, but all installed fine now, and system working fine so far here, and on 2tb drive storing music, downloads, videos, and such, everything almost reinstalled lol, flew so much software lol

Just consider a SSD as a hard-drive, USB stick, cd/dvd and such.
The way they handle/store data is on the technical level different, but their functions are the same.

Whole point of how SSD’s work is that they aren’t really any different from classic drives in terms exposed to the end user. Yes, they work differently, but on the outside, they behave the same. Except they are a lot faster.

Thank you all for the replies, i’ll figure out how to handle the Creators update when time for that, might just update via Windows update this time, overall system running great now.
