Did not the founders of these operating systems once were part of the same group of hackers? And then they had this friend who could imitate the dial tones on his bone flute to make free long distance calls? You are old enough to remember these wild days, so your assumption is not so far fetched, e.g. “an apple does not fall that far from the Redmond tree!”
True, true… but still, even though this vulnerability was open for last 9 months, I am not sure if even one Apple computer security was compromised in any way… while Windows is getting hit by even smallest vulnerability issues almost every minute. So that’s the biggest difference. I feel safe browsing on my Mac, and a lot safer doing online banking. Do not even want to think about doing it on my Windows machines.
