Well, if you disable the “Scan Secured Connections” option it is as if you would completely disable
the mailshield in most cases. In other words the mail traffic does not go through the mailshield and is
not scanned when you switch either of them to “off”.
There is nothing interresting in the log, that could help us to understand the reason of your problem. What mailserver
(mail account provider) do you use? What email client (exact version) do you use?
