Application is accessing a permission it did not ask for

Hello all,

Today i been getting a few prompts that an app on my phone is accessing a permission which it has not asked for during installation.

However when i click on it, it just brings me to the application list on avast. Is it possible to find out which app is doing this?

Am using the free latest version.

are these avast! prompts? I don’t remember us putting something like that inside.

I think you are right… its not avast prompt (See attachment) but it was strange that it opened up avast application list after i keyed in the security pin… which led me to believe it was an avast prompt.

Guess it was my fat fingers :slight_smile:

I will try to isolate but at the moment the prompt is unhelpful.

Nah, I meant which app is showing the prompt :slight_smile: Or if it is a system as you are using some custom ROM.

I googled for your error message - from what I read, it seems to come from KNOX
