Apply button is grayed out

Hi guys,

First time on here, I am running Win XP, SP3 with Avast free, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware.

Ran Avast and it shows that my comp is infected but the apply button is grayed out, also, there is no options from the drop down list for action. Could you guys help me figure out how fix the grayed out apply button situation and remove these viruses?

BTW, I ran Avast boot scan, and in safe mode, Avast did not pick up any infection, only in normal mode it picked up these viruses, here are the viruses that listed, sorry I could not copy and paste scan log or do print screen:

File Name: Process 2112 [mbamservice.exe], memory block 0x00000000019E0000, block size 2097152
Severity: High
Status: Threat: Win32:Bredolab-K [Trj]

The rest of the viruses are also from the same file name or superantispyware.exe, the other viruses listed are: JS:Agent-EV [Trj], Whiplash-4592-B, Win32:Bifrose-EKQ [Trj], Win32:.lifas-FW [Trj], Win32:Emold [Drp], SFX:QHost-A [Drp], Win32:FakeSysdef-EG [Trj], Win32:Carberp-FN [Trj], Win32:BHO-GW [Trj]

I apologize for the long post, if you guys could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Nothing to worry about, as these are memory detections.
You can ignore them.
I suggest to disable memory scanning.

File Name: Process 2112 [mbamservice.exe], memory block 0x00000000019E0000, block size 2097152
what you have detected is a process and not a file....you cant move a process to the chest, hence the button is gray

also the process belongs to malwarebytes…so what you have detected here is malware signatures from other security programs installed

The reason…i guess you did a custom scan and selected “Scan Memory”

do not use the “scan memory setting” as this will give some strange scan results. You will find that the forum is full of these cases if you search

do not change the default scan settings if you do not know the result of doing it
use the default quick/full scan with default settings
boot scan you use when the normal scan have problems removing a malware found

Great!! Thank you so much guys.
