All of the bid /ask info is blocked by Avast. If I stop on-access protection the data is allowed. I tried stopping the providers(messaging,mail,network,standard,web) individually with no success. Other than this one glitch the Avast system seems to work just fine
I turned off the popup blocker and added the site to the allowed list. It made no difference. All of the ARCA popup works with the ability to add or delete stock, just somehow the bid/ask data is being blocked.

Well I don’t know what is going on but avast doesn’t block (it isn’t a firewall) it scans and alerts to infection but doesn’t block.
What is your firewall ?
It may be possible that there is a clash between the web shield and it, but since you say stopping the web shield doesn’t have any effect and I can’t see what other avast shield would get involved.
Is this like a real time streaming data ?
If so it may be possible that it uses port 80 for something outside the standard http protocol.
You say you added the allowed list where was this as there isn’t something of this name in the web shield ?
If it is a streaming data type function I would suggest adding the IP address (not URL) to the web shield > customize > Basic tab > Ignored addresses: field.
