Pete needs to understand WHY.
The files of the system are Password Protected so they cannot be changed. If they could de deleted or “repaired” by an antivirus program, it could be catasrophic. Some ini files within programs also ‘password’ protect to prevent tampering.
The archived files you see in Spybot are those spyware files that Spybot removed to it’s safe area/restore. You can delete them from within Spybot and and they will no longer show in the Avast scan result
