Are SuperAntiSpyware and SpyWare Doctor made by same people?

Are SuperAntiSpyware and SpyWare Doctor made by same people? I ask this because they both use a little yellow six-legged “bug” with a black head as an Icon that looks astonishingly similar. In SAS it is the Icon for “Scan for Harmful Software” and in Spyware Doctor it is the Icon for Intelli-Signatures.

Co-incidence? Probably, but it did make me curious.

… smoke

You’re not the first to notice this. Are you an entomologist? ;D
AFAIK, ‘Spyware Doctor’ was originally developed from ‘Registry Mechanic’ by PC Tools, Sydney, Australia (now registered in Shannon, Ireland, presumably for tax reasons).
SUPERAntispyware is from SuperAdBlocker, Eugene, Oregon, USA.

Ahhhhh… I should have used the search function… Thank you for your reply.

I am not an entomologist, just an observer… Now I wonder if the Icon was pulled from some widely known graphics database. Perhaps in addition to being an observer I may be a bit obsessive-compulsive too.

Use this strength to help the others

My SAS is a little “RED” bug, with 6 legs and a black head. Should I worry ?? :o

Don’t let it bite you. Those are deadly!

But seriously, you probably have the paid full version…

But seriously, you probably have the paid full version......
I don't think that's it, hines232's signature says he has SAS free. Plus I have SAS Pro and my bug is yellow.

hines232, if your SAS icon is red and you haven’t modified it, you might want to ask about it on the SAS Forum.

Could this mean he needs to do a scan? Or update?

Have all latest updates and new release. (For SAS free). Have scanned, nothing found. Will check there forum (if they have one). Thanks all !!

Theres in there office, is a dark Brown. explanation: different monitors, and settings. As long as I can right click and get there menus, (which I can) I am OK !! ;D
