Are these FALSE POSSITIVES, for avast! Free? Worried can't take action.

I did the deepest scan possible, I scanned it last night and had no problems, but today i used this deep 100% file scan custom scan. I’m getting worried, I haven’t done anything different or noticed anything different happening to my computer. I understand these files are required for the computer to function, but Ive read they may become changed and effected due to a virus. I’m pretty new to cleaning my pc 100% of virus, and I thought i was going a good job, I private browse, don’t go to sketchy websites. This computer is mainly for gaming but i remember in the past 5 threats can turn to 10, then 20 then keep piling up. Any advice on what to do would be much appreciated. I read sometimes Avast can be a little over protective but I rather be safe then sorry. If there is another program out there that’s small, and wont do anything strange to my pc to double check that would be great. Im just really worried as this computer is new, and just upgraded and im loving it. But I really do not want to deal with any virus’s right now. Thanks again sorry for the long post.

Did you scan during a windows update period ? I.e. either downloading or installing as winsxs is where all system updates are unpacked and just generally worked with. Avast has a penchant for alerting on those

I am not 100% sure if I did, I was pretty tired last night and my system updates automatically without telling me (or i missed the popup letting me know its downloading) But i remember when i shut down my computer right after the scan picked up those error’s, it needed to be restarted to update it had that little ! icon next to shut down and it did an up date as it was shutting down. I’ve used CCleaner, an anti malware program, Windows Firewall.I used Avast! about 9 other times on the deepest scan possible after updating and running Avast! boot scan. I have yet to see the virus come up again but when I go to the scan history it still shows the page with the virus that i took a screen shot of. Do you think im okay? I have not been on any porn, haven’t downloaded any thing i don’t know what it is, i use ADBlocker for fire fox. I’ve had avast! since i got my computer so i find it hard to believe i have an actual virus. But since this computers so new I’m kinda getting a little OCD about it and don’t want to go thought the trouble of destroying a virus. Thanks again.

Yep it is just Avast being a little paranoid and they can be safely ignored

Great, thanks so much! I tend to worry to much about these things. I was confused as to why every time after I rescanned it would never show up with those problems, must have been the update. My computers running fine and I ran a ton of other tests. I really Appericate your feedback takes a load off my mind.

My pleasure
