Very impressive 8)

Tech,
What’s the difference between Arovax and MS-AntiSpyware?
Does it do anything that Ms-AntiSpyware doesn’t already do?

I think MS is better right now: features, number of detections.

Arovax is being alpha tested, without features yet.
You’ll find a very fast scanning (even the deeper one), yet without resident scanner. Free.
It’s an alternative to be tunned on… in the future, who knows 8)

Here is a forum that talks about Avorax Antispyware Alpha, plus it has a few screenshots of the program too.

I’m apart of the forums. I like it so far. but although I have already found alittle bug. When I scanned with Arovax Anti-Spyware It found a Registry: Battler.Batch

I did a Google search and it disabled my Task Manager. i fixed it but still, Why would it scan such a thing?!

I’m liking it though. have had no other problems

Hello Inu-Ya!

Thank you!

TO Cerbey, I gave your program a try yesterday and found it worked well. The only concern was that it detected 3 hits on MSN messenger files & registry. I cant show you the evidence as im not home at present but does this sound correct. Are these legitimate spyware of false pos?

I believe there are false pos. I had scanned it and it found Battler.Batch which I believe and some kind of Trojan.

Me too… Program is on alpha test, it’s not complete, a lot of features are not implemented yet.
There is not an ignore list right now. We must wait for further development.
I hope the program remains free.

Same here Tech.

But the funny thing is I was going to post the program on here and all. But, Seems that you’ve beat me to it :-\

Sorry… Anyway, who does really worry about the starter of a thread ;D
Enjoy and follow the Arovax development… You’ve sign in there before me

I knew the program before you did however. Atleast thats one thing. ::slight_smile: But we’re keep a look out on bugs and what not ;D

They said that they’ll keep the Antispyware free of charge when they finally release the final version, they’ll just make a Pro edition which will be the paid version.

I read that and yes, Hopefully it will stay at that.

 I would not touch this product with a 10- ft pole UNTIL
it makes Eric Howes list of “Trustworthy Anti-Spyware
Products” on his spywarewarrior.com site .

The precaution is needed when you don’t know the company.
Arovax is safe. No need to burn it with trust or not trust applications. This was discussed a lot in the past. First approach was against the company. After a while, knowing them, you’ll see who they are. By the way, without being mentioned in that site is a good signal after all.

 Arovax is listed on Eric Howes “Not On the List” section
of “Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products”.

  He also says :

"I always urge users to stick to the short list of anti-spyware applications that have proven track records for trustworthy performance. "

We never said members HAD to test it out. Well, You would have to test it out to give us feedback but At least we’re trying are best to keep it moving along with the others. I’m testing it out still and loving it. Have had to problems. Beta is to be released in a couple of days. Avatars are to be released to members soon. Banners are un aware of at this time.

I’m wondering how Avorax shapes up as far as compatability with Avast! resident Protection, WebShield ; and other system monitoring programs like WinPatrol. ? Anyone using Avast! with Avorax, or is it either one or the other ?
Inu-Ya I noticed after posting you’ve listed Avast! and Avorax in your signature …oops ! Any compatability problems ?

I have had no problem when running both. They seem to work together ::slight_smile:

Arovax Anti-Spyware is still in testing. Arovax Shield is being Improved. Nospam is being monitored for further Improving. We’re all doing good here. The Beta for Arovax Anti-Spyware is still un aware of.
