ASB will not launch

It flashes like it is launching and then disappears. I cannot open it.

It really is a frustrating and poorly made product but Google and MS track, Firefox has recently acquired major problems launching sites, and the whole experience of accessing the internet has become a nightmare. WTF happened? Ever since recent updates to Windows 10, Avast, and Firefox, browsing has been an issue.

I have 36 GB RAM, two 1.5 TB hard drives, intel i7 6 core processor, GeForce (16 GB) video processor, on a DELL XPS system with the latest Win 10 running.

ASB was working until I just updated Avast Security. Then “poof” it stopped.

Thanks. None of the options seem to apply to my PC/version. I run Win 10.0.19043. I even tried rolling back to prior update but Windows immediately tried to update me again to this newer version and the issues didn’t go away anyhow.

It still doesn’t launch and apparently Avast doesn’t care. Very odd. No reply from them at all.

Please can you try to follow these steps tu fully uninstall the browser and try to install it again?

I am getting the same problem, I have followed all of Avast’s instructions and ASB still doesn’t work.
Is there another way to force it open? I need to get all of my bookmarks.
