When making a connection to a pop3 server, transfer speed falls down extremly.
It happens with the Bat aswell with Outlookexpress.
I’ve an ADSL connection of 3Mb/s but the download speed of POP3 falls back to to 34cps.
Getting 40 normal sized mails takes more than an hour.
It was with the latest build of version 4.0 and still is the case with version 4.1.
I even tried it on another computer also running Win 2000 SP4.
The same situation.
Any idea what could cause this ?
