Hi! When I turned on my computer this morning, I got this error message: “Error starting program. Ashtask.dll file is linked to missing export ashbase.dll-?AddPeal@C My Array @ @ IAE PaePak@z.” Other messsages that later came on in regards to this said “The Ashuint dll file is linked to missing export ashbase.dll-basFont Supports Charset @8” And, “C :/Program files/alwil SoftwareAvast4/ashavast.exe. A device attached to the system is not functioning.”
Why don’t you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove
Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).
If this does not help, can you uninstall / boot / install / boot again?
