ask software updater disable permanently ?
I’ve stopped but had to restart the pc software updater revived

Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall>double click “avast”>click “change”>de-select your choice>reboot 
I do not want to install!

Para-Noid was trying to say you can uninstall only the Software Updater feature, not the whole avast!.

No please, not that f… reaking toolbar. 
If that’s really true, time has come to look for another antivirus product.

I just replaced the above word ‘taskbar’ by ‘toolbar’.
Of course, ASK is a toolbar, not a taskbar.
