Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
Brand new freshly reformatted drive new XP install SP3 done and clean. Only other thing on the drive that I have installed is the Free Avast. BSOD and aswmon2.sys error, also if I do get through to the desktop without the BSOD Avast never completely loads and hangs everything. Cant even get into the control panel, well can but nothing will open because of the Avast hang.
