Could you tell me exactly what you did please… As I have been trying to find a solution to this that is not malware related
I simply downloaded an image file of windows vista 32bit and reinstalled vista.
Everything seems to be working fine right now(installing windows updates etc…)
I hope this doesnt happen again though…

also i would appreciate any tips to prevent registry corruptions in the future or perhaps you could tell me how this happened.
i know it could happen through a multitude of issues but i want to be safe and know beforehand what are the major causes.

this is the same problem i am having essex, i posted to you on the other forum, however in reago or whatever, when i use thhe xplorer2_lite, i click on c: and it says it hasnt been formated…
i didnt do anything, turned my computer off for an hour and boom. this problem
