hi
i already saw im not the first to have this problem , i only need the w7 64bit .iso to solve the problem (cannot boot even in safe mode , loading drivers stop at aswrvrt.sys : an avg driver)
[*]Plug the flashdrive into the infected PC.
[*]Restart your computer and tap F8 to bring up the Advanced Menu, then click Repair your computer
[*]Follow the prompt to enter keyboard input method, and then the prompt to enter a password. If the machine does not have a password, simply click Enter.
In the next menu, use the arrow keys on the keyboard to highlight Command Prompt and press Enter.
[*] In the command window type in notepad and press Enter.
[*] When notepad opens, click File and select Open.
[*]Select “Computer” and find your flash drive letter and close the notepad.
[*]In the command window type e:\frst64.exe and press Enter.
Note: Replace letter e with the drive letter of your flash drive.
[*]The tool will start to run. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
[*]Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) on the flash drive. Please attach it to your reply.
ty for the answer but i cant find the “repair your pc” all the options are:
restore the computer
safemode
safemode+network
safemode+pront
able starting registration
enable video low resolution (640x480)
last advanced configuration know
restore mode for dicectory services
debug mode
disable automatic reboot for systems errors
disable driver firmware settings
start windows normally
these are the options showed when i press F8 after the starting button
(the options are translated , poorly, from italian version of w7)
ok i created the usb boot and set priority and permission to usb boot. I saved changes and restarted , now i have black screen and i’m waiting since 30 minutes … Is it normal?
i downloaded rufus and the .exe file named OTLPEStd.exe. Then with rufus i created a usb storage formatted ntfs from the .iso that was in the OTLPEStd.exe (i opened it with as a zip/rar archivie). obviusly i did these steps with another pc . Then i plugged in the usb in the broken pc and pressed f2 (is a sony vaio ) to open the bios menu, i went in the “boot” submenu and enabled the usb boot and selected usb boot as first preference from where the pc should search for a OS . Finally i saved the changes and restarted (with the usb plugged in obviusly).
im really frustated 1 day losed behind it
I tryed rebooting with another image of w7 and he loaded “repair system of vaio” but there’s no option to restore a backup…now im trying with ubuntu minimal and maybe it will let me start a pront and then execute a scanner
Insert the USB into the sick computer and start the computer. First ensuring that the system is set to boot from USB
Note: If you are not sure how to do that follow the instructions Here
When you reboot you will see this although yours will say windows 7. Click repair my computer
notepad and press Enter.
The notepad opens. Under File menu select Open.
Select “Computer” and find your flash drive letter and close the notepad.
In the command window type e:\frst64.exe and press Enter Note: Replace letter e with the drive letter of your flash drive.
The tool will start to run.
When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
ty for the answer but i cannot download Windows 7 64bit RC from your onedrive cause says the file is removed or no more avaiable
wait ing your answers i tryed also create a real CD from the OTLPEStd.exe (if u run this it will try to burnd a cd )… after doing it i started the pc with the cd ( my priority in “boot” menu are “external usb” , “cd” and then “internal” )…it miraculously started and loaded stuff …windows xp started (after the loading appeared the logo )but after some minutes crashed and then appeared the blue screen .
well finally it started … but is ultra slow (about 10 minutes to start the pront) …and 15 to start the farbar recovery scan tool …now i will try to start the scan … how does it wil took?
the problem is how to reinstall w7 ? the pc is ultra slow and w7 is saved on a internal partition so i cant really access to it to reinstall …and i do not want to format …
