Hello everyone!
I have also experienced severe problems with aswRvrt.sys
I lost more than a day’s work for this problem with my Avast Premier.
After making much effort identified the problem and have gained access to my file system … I just changed the name to “_aswRvrt.sys” and my PC has begun to function normally …
:‘( :’( :'(… please please please !!! Tell me that I should make my work properly Avast Premier !!!
Best regards,
M. Nobile, Sc. PhD
I suggest an installation from scratch:
- Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall Utility and save it.
- Download the latest Avast version and save it.
- (Optional) If you want, save your Avast settings for later restoration (Settings > Maintenance > Back up).
- Uninstall Avast from Control Panel (if possible) and reboot.
- Run the Avast Uninstall Utility saved on 1 in and follow the instructions. Reboot Windows in Safe Mode, uninstall Avast and then reboot in Normal Mode again.
- Install Avast using the setup saved on 2. Register your free copy or add the license key for the paid versions. Boot.
- Check and post the results.
Please, be patient, boot when it’s said to boot…

I have a similar problem.
The PC was hanging on aswRvrt but I can’t get into safe mode or normal mode and when I try to use Reatogo-X-PE, it blue screens as well.
I renamed aswRvrt.sys to _aswRvrt.sys
Now I still get blue screen if I try to boot in normal mode and in safe mode it hangs on aswvww.sys, then blue screens.
I have another pc here to use to change and delete files etc if I need to. I really need help with this one as I’m completely stuck.
