Blue Screen Atapi.sys error on install. FIX ?
You really have to tell a lot more.
What are you trying to install?
What operating system?
What anti-malware software is/was there on the system?
What is the exact error code?
Is there a way to take an image of the blue screen ? ???
What other programs might help remove bad stuff before I install ?

Only with a digital camera (or phone), at a low resolution jpg or it would be too big to attach to a post.
Or if it happens again, record as much of the information, stop error codes, etc.
You could also use blue screen view to analyse the mini dump files, to see the basic information on the BSOD, it also allows you to copy the data which you can paste on the forum.
