hi. i just purchased an atrix hd which was upgraded from the atrix 2 with at&t. the entire app and features worked wonderfully on the atrix 2, but i am having trouble with the new one. if the phone is turned off and back on the app works great for a couple of hours, then seems to stop working until power is turned off and back on again. specifically the sms/call forwarding and locate. the messages are sent to the phone and are still hidden but no response comes through. if i then power cycle the phone, everything works fine again. just wanted to know if there is something i havent done or need to changed in the new phone. thanks!
ok, after playing with the phone and the anti-theft all night, i figured out that it is the “cc calls” that triggers the anti theft to stop working. every time the friend phone would get a message saying a call came through, that would be the last message that would be sent. avast wouldn’t even be able to send the test msg after that. its like the texting was disabled. then i restarted the phone and put in “code cc all stop” and “code cc sms” the text forwarding would work fine along with the locate feature. not sure what is causing this or if this is a known issue. just thought i’d ask. thanks
