Does anyone else have trouble with the sound working while in the “SafeZone?” I will try to reload the page to activate the sound, only to get a message that the “ShockWave” is not working. If I attempt to reload the page beyond this point, the screen will freeze up and I have to reboot. Is a patch necessary to correct this problem?
You do realize that Safezone is meant for secure transactions such as banking and online shopping.
It is “not” meant to be used as browser safety net. That is best suited for the on-demand sandbox.
For your everyday browsing I would urge you to use the sandbox and not Safezone.
Use Safezone for money transactions. Sandbox for browsing the web. 
I’m having difficulty with the audio working in the sandbox as well, gene_h. YouTube videos play, but there is no sound. I’ve also tried running Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer (64-bit) in the Avast! sandbox, but the sound doesn’t work in any of those browsers. When not sandboxed, the sound works fine. I don’t get any error messages after reloading the various pages, though.
Opera 12.14 (both 32 and 64 bit) when not sandboxed will work fine on youtube, sound and all. When sandboxed, there is no sound when playing any presentations. This is on Win7 SP1.
On WinXP Pro SP3, Opera 32 bit sandboxed works fully on youtube. Is this some odd permissions issue with the sandbox and Flash on Win7?
