Upgraded from 11 version to the 12.3.2280 and - voila! - the new version blocks Internet access for a hour. What do I need to remedy this?

Sorry to butt in, this is my 1st post. I’ve noticed my Firefox browser has been using, as the search tool, something called, “Google(Avast)”. Does someone know what this means, or why I had to go back to a “Google” only option. Is Avast trying to log all my search info…? Sure seems like it, thank you…

Hi…i am running the Premier trial, but cant get into settings as it requires a password, nor repair or uninstall works. Please assist
It only requires a password if you set one up when you installed it. It required Admin rights.
If you can’t remember the password you assigned, do a clean install and either write down the password or, don’t assign one. 
I got the 12.3.2280 from CBI*AVAST SOFTWARE S.R. is this a bogus site or am I OK. I am worried that this is a bogus site and my subscription is fake. AVAST Premier is running now on my PC. Please let me know.

My good people, I’ve decided to migrate to the latest version of avast. Should I upgrade through the GUI or download avast clear tool and do a fresh one ? As you may see I am using version 10 of the avast add on. Should I remove it from my browsers prior to it or it will update to the new version automatically ?
