Auto-renewal, but no longer use that PC - How to add different device

So I was just charged for 2017 via auto-renewal, but my former device to which the license is applied is now kaput. How can I transfer the license to a new device without being charged again?

Please (re)search before posting as things like this have been explained many times already.

Delete the old device from your account
Install avast on the new one
Use your license file.
