Auto renewal does not cancel

I would ‘personally’ prefer to keep track of my subscriptions, and to be able to either allow the subscription to cancel (possibly due to not having a PC for some time) or to manually update the subscription early, but when I try to cancel my auto renewal, all I get is “cancellation request sent” and a continuously rotating busy icon, which is still rotating now (in another tab), and if I close my browser, then re-open and relog into my avast account, it still says I have an auto renewal attached to the license.

I would like to have this auto renewal cancelled, and it seems I can’t do it from my licenses page.

I have reported this in the hope of getting this resolved.

Hi, try another browser, usually IE works.

I did, I tried MS Edge, MS Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome, and Firefox, and it’s still the same, but,I canceled the recurring payments in my paypal account, so that even though my Avast account says an auto renewal is attached to the license, the Avast billing system will fail when trying.

OK, as Dave reported it, let’s see if we get a reply from the team.

This looks like an issue in the account portal. Your order was placed without automatic renewal so there is nothing to disable :slight_smile:
We are currently improving the behaviour of the portal and plan to release some changes soon to avoid this to happen.
