Auto renewal does not work

I have been trying to shutoff autorenewal and it keeps rejecting it. Any ideas.

I’ve been trying to shut off auto-renewal since I started with AVAST a few years ago. I don’t allow auto-renewals on any site. I request an invoice. I have turned it off multiple times and it shows it is turned off, then it automatically turns back on. Despite my requests and without even sending me a notice that they were renewing it, it was renewed. When I complained to PAYPAL and AVAST, I was told I would be reimbursed. That didn’t happen either.

I’m so disappointed in AVAST! I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to discontinue Avast auto-renewals. Other companies comply and it’s easy to turn off their auto-renewals. If AVAST can’t fix this, I really don’t see how they can successfully protect my information as an internet security company.

At this point I just want to turn off auto-renew. When I follow the link, it takes me to a page to insert the order #, but it says it’s an invalid number. When I try the forgot number, it says it doesn’t recognize me. This should be an easy one box tick, but it’s not. They’ve purposely made it difficult. AVAST! turn off my auto-renew and notify me that you turned it off. Then fix your program so that EVERYONE can tick a box that says NO to auto renew.

Have you tried going to your my.avast.com website and tried it there ???
