One question I keep forgetting to ask…
Does Avast! participate in the auto-renewal “scam” like other antivirus companies? I call it a scam because the auto-renewal is usually hidden and you dont know its there until you credit card gets charged without your known approval.
As far as I’m aware they don’t carry out this rather dubious practice. I have been using the forums for over six and a half years and have never seen one occurrence of this in all that time.
You get a reminder of renewal required 14 days before but it is up to the user to complete the license renewal process.

Though some might call it a nag screen ;D But it most certainly doesn’t auto charge your Credit Card, there would have been howls of dissent if it were so.
Never have known avast! to scam anyone.
