Auto updating Home edition

Since the trial period expired and it converted itself to the Home edition the auto updating of the virus database does not seem to work anymore. I know that the “PUSH updates” does not function in Home but thought the normal updating continued.

Could someone please confirm that it should auto update and if so how?

Get a license key for the Home version from Avast’s website and put it in Avast.

It is registered but I re-entered the number and fiddled with the settings and seems to be working now
