Personally I only ever update a driver if there is a problem with it, it also depends on what that drivers is ?
For me there is no one size fits all solution to this type of thing, updating/changing drivers can seriously impact on your system so there should be a good reason to start updating drivers. Before updating drivers I would suggest you first have a robust backup and recovery strategy (should it go wrong) in the form of drive imaging software that can make an exact copy of a drive/partition that can be restored (nothing like system restore that doesn’t cover everything).
Another thing when updating drivers don’t try to do them all at once, if the dark brown stuff hits the fan it can be difficult to find the culprit. And that is why I wouldn’t use any of these multiple driver update tools.
