I’ve went online with WiFi countless times and updated may apps, yet AMS is showing that defs are 6 days old. Now i’m online for 5 minutes and still hasn’t updated.
It’s set to only update through WiFi, Automatic updates enabled, yet it doesn’t seem to work that well because it’s not updating automatically.
Any idea why is so?
Hmmm… Mine is updated 5h ago… I do not check it very often…
I too have mine set to WiFi updates only and my VPS is showing 120526-1 last checked 5 hours ago. So I don’t appear to be suffering in the same way, I have been in range of my home wifi all day. But generally I don’t see any large gaps in the auto update function.
Only thing that could possibly break this is the fact that i’ve updated my CyanogenMod rom from CM 7.2 RC1 to CM 7.2 RC2 not long ago. But i’m not sure why would and OS break the app since they seem to be isolated from eachother on Android…
It may be that AMS is getting the notice about working Internet connection so quickly it tries to update when it is not yet available. It waits for another X hours upon failure before another check.

Any chance you could delay the update check for 30 seconds or 1 minute? That should do the trick i guess.
Yeah, I’m working on such a mechanism at the moment. We will see if that makes any difference.
