AutoCAD saving dwg files as sav*.tmp files with avast issue

I have discovered an effective work around for the AutoCAD saving dwg files as sav*.tmp files issue ;D that stops Avast trying to scan the dwg files to be written.

  1. you click on the avast icon in the system tray and select the ‘standard shield’.
  2. Click on the ‘customize’ button
  3. select the ‘Scanner (Advanced)’ tab
  4. Under ‘Scan Selected File’ select the ‘Selected Files’ (this will deselect the ‘All Files’ check box)
  5. tick the ‘Default Files’ check box
  6. close & close

Done Avast will no longer try to scan dwg files to be written ;D

So as has been mentioned exclusion works on all sensitivity settings.
