Hi, thanks for replying.
Can Avast Free Antivirus fix the problem?
What to do now? Delete, repair, chest, nothing, auto solve are the optional options, which one do I have to select?
Kind regards, Herman
Please find enclosed a clamwin scan logfile.
Can I remove the infected files?
Best regards, Herman
you have to wait for the malware expert to arrive, he may be online tomorrow
@Pondus: thanks for your reply.
Okay, I sit down and will wait for the malware expert, no problem at all.
In the meanwhile enjoy your weekend.
Kind regards, Herman
Hi there, I also have mbam aboard. Can (does) mbam interfere with avast antivirus free?
mbam home (free) version 2.2.1.1043
Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks in advance.
Kind regards, Herman
I have checked your logs and see no active malware in them. You may try and have Avast repair / fix the AutoIt file but I would not be too worried if it can not do anything but move it to the Virus Chest.
AS to the files that ClamWin found, please test them at VirusTotal first and see if any other scanners find them bad.
Hi, thanks for your help which is highly appreciated by me.
ClamWin was unable to show the files detected: strange (imo).
Avast repair: unable doing so (huh?).
Avast chest: done, unfortunately problem not solved! (!)
Just wondering: Avast false positive case?
Enjoy your weekend, best, Herman
I wanna say thank you for your help and advice!
Detection issue has been solved.
Kind regards,
Herman
