Hi, I have the automatic renew for Avast Internet Security which will renew in a week. In my account I have 3 licenses but I only need 2 now. How I can remove 1 license from my account?
What are the three licenses for ?
Was this a multi PC license
If you bought a multi (3) PC license it should (I guess) show the licenses in your my.avast.com account.
What is it you are trying to achieve by removing the 3rd license ?
I didn’t explain it correctly. It’s a multi PC license. I have 1 license for 3 PC and now I have only 2 PC.
In the license part of my account, it show a license for 3 computers that expire December 7th.
I don’t want to pay for an extra PC. Is it a way to renew a license for 2 PC only or I have to cancel the automatic renew and buy a license for only 2 PC?
I believe there is no way other than as you suggested, cancel the auto renew and when you need to renew you would need to get new licenses.
The only problem I see is that as far as multi PC licenses goes I don’t think that you can purchase a multi license for 2PCs, multi PC licenses started at 3. I don’t know if that is still the case.
You could try a support ticket to sales and see if they can come up with something.

You’re right. I just checked and it is $69.99 for 1 PC and $89.99 for 3. There’s no offer for 2 PC 
Got a friend, it’s almost Christmas. 
Well based on those figures, it is cheaper to buy a 3PC license and give it to a family member/friend.
That said I don’t know how that would actually work, you would either need to give them a copy of the license to use. They mustn’t try to use it on more one PC or it could invalidate the license.
