Everytime I try to update from the last update I got (0522-0 30/05/05) using the automatic or manual update, there’s an error message displaying this (I’m from South America, so the message is spanish):

A couple of friends of mine has the same problem, and we are all registered users. I tried reinstalling the software… but nothing happens.
The package is broken (in English).
Maybe something is wrong in your installation but the re-installation should work :
Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove
Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).
You must be connected to the internet while repairing.
I tried everything… I tried to download the english languaje (modify option) but error. Update all: error. Repair: error. One friend of mine has no problems with the program, but mine continues.
No, I asked not answer… It was not a workaround but I posted the problem itself.
If you use more than one language you must correct the installation with full language avast (a ‘big’ download of 30Mb): http://download1.avast.com/iavs4pro/setupfulpro.exe
If you don’t want to use it, uninstall / boot / install / boot again.
