Hi guys, i’m new to this forum and just recently bought avast with 3 users.
I encountered something strange regarding on the autoplay feature while installing avast using the disc given.
I have a windows 7 and windows 8.
When i insert the disc to the win 7 , the autoplay feature allows me to run the setup directly in the options given.
But when i did this to the win 8 , the autoplay feature only allows me to open the file and i have to manually click on the setup instead.
Is this abnormal or just the feature for windows 8?
After this experience , i tried different type of software installation disc and the results are the same.
I could not run the setup directly on the autoplay but i have to open the file to manually configure it.
I know this question might sound dumb but i really need an advice from you guys.
Normal for Windows 8 and 8.1 - Safety feature so you can’t catch a bug by simply installing the CD.
