Pretty happy with AV8 , would be good that software updater would be disabled by new installation , so you can choose which updates (however minor issue) , AV is so far nbr 1 and leaves everybody behind …one more thing, how can I paste/copy the scan log so I can research some malware …
( I had a figaga.exe which I was able to delete but some others which are showing in the log but AV8 can’t locate…) …

PS.53 years of happiness …awsome and jealous …but mine after over 20 is going down …wheres the miracle pill …

That’s the whole point of it being enabled by default, for those that need the software updater most they would be unaware of it (or what it does) and not switch it on.

The rest of us knowledgeable enough can either not select it in a custom install or easily uninstall it later (or Disable permanently, in next program update).
