I would suggest that modify the images that you posted and obscure your email address. Then delete the ones you posted here and then upload the modified ones.

Any idea why this keeps coming up? I did to smart scans with Avast and nothing shows up, all is clear.
Is it safe to proceed to PayPal and log in?
Shall I try on another Browser?

OK I have run a test on on of my systems, logged on to my PayPal account and no alert.

Some differences on my system:
I’m using avast free 12.3.2280 on this win10 laptop. Firefox as opposed to the SafeZone Browser, and Outpost Firewall Pro as opposed to the avast firewall.

EDIT: Looking at your images again, it may be the the safezone browser doing something extra and that javascript authorising check may look suspicious to it. You could try logging in to paypal using a standard browser and not safezone browser to see if that works.

Just butting in, sorry, but I came to the forum to ask about the exact same problem. I’m using 170511-6 definitions and 17.4.2294 (build 17.4.3482.0) version of Avast Free, on Win10 Pro 64 bit, and the browser is Chrome.

Further update this laptop only had VPS version 170511-0 - I have just done a manual VPS and now have 170511-6 - just about to logon again.

EDIT: Looks like this is a possible false positive in a VPS update somewhere between 170511-0 and 170511-6.

EDIT2 I have reported this, hopefully it will draw some attention to it.

People have already been looking at it. Avast say it has been corrected in a VPS update, to ensure you have the latest VPS version do a manual virus definitions update from the avastUI.
