we’re thinking about changing AV software. But it needs to be able to use for both Windows as Mac clients. Also it would be great if it could be managed centrally (installing, updating, scanning). What are my possibilities here?

as far as i know at this moment…
the business console is only aimed on MS Windows computers, not MAC.
as you can see in the system requirements: http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download#tab2
there is no support for MAC (yet)
There is a Linux client too (which comes closest to a MAC client) but its not centrally manageable.
To my best knowledge there will be no MAC/Linux product which will be centrally manageable either for a while.

As today I don’t know about one AV product (the same package) that is multiplatform. But, for Windows, maybe your solution is one of this products: http://www.avast.com/help-business
