Again in AV-Test Avast! failed to reached the highest level.AVG did it once again. :-*
Protection against 0-day malware attacks, inclusive of web and e-mail threats (Real-World Testing):97.3%-Avast!.
AVG Rank as a “Top Product”
Protection against 0-day malware attacks, inclusive of web and e-mail threats (Real-World Testing):100%
Why avast! failed? It got CC(https://blog.avast.com/cybercapture-protection-against-zero-second-attacks). :frowning:
NEED MORE IMPROVEMENTS ON CC.

Yes, I was also disapointed by the Avast 0-day protection result.
But on the other hand AVG = Avast now, so there is no excuse in the future

Greetz, Red.

I do believe that. But avast! CC need more improvements what do you think?@Rednose.And what happend to Ransomware protection?

The performance hit is pretty bad compared to the average too!

Hmm… If you look at the Windows 10 test results (instead of the Win 8.1 results), Avast beat AVG in overall protection:

I have no idea why they retested 8.1 in June and the last 10 test was April.
