Should say You can now decide what to do with them.

avast has really lost track of the reality.
A driver updater ?
Paid ?
There are already good free ones, not that anyone need them but still.
avast stop wasting time, money, resources on crap that noone is waiting for and start making the huge list with (already) know bugs in the av and other excisting tools a lot smaller !!!

Have to totally agree with Eddy. Fixing existing bugs should be the priority.
The only new items released at the current time should involve security.
Avast is know as a Security Company. Please don’t burden the Malware Protection end of the product
with tuneup and other products.
You can sell those products as stand alone products to anyone willing to pay for them.

Driver Updater…really? And for $50? There are many CHEAPER and better updaters available…
Sad to see whats happening to Avast. I had to change my AV after some issues and I must say, competition is better.
I’m still reading this forum regularly, but many past issues still persist.

Not many AV software have such dedicated community, Avast should appreciate it more…

Well the way I see it is, if avast is not careful, they will end up like Nero, Corel and few others that slowly vanishing in thin air after been at one time the world’s leading software developers .

Nero used to be #1 mid level video editing software I would upgrade every new version, pretty much every year since version 6.6 up to version I think 9 and at that time I said “I don’t see myself ever stop using Nero” than everything went down heal, now I don’t even look at Nero, its piece of useless unneeded trush.

In fact from been literally obsessed with that software I disliked it so much that I gave away even my older version to friend who couldn’t afford to get his own… I always see the Platinum version on sale at Best Buy for 1/2 price, yet no one even bother

I’ve been avast pro user for a long time, very long time and I’m always on the border line with renewing my licenses (3 of them) due to always some small adding’s that I don’t care about, but they tend to cause issues here and there , tiny stupid move on avast part, that’s all is going to take.

Franky! I’m already getting annoyed by stupid popup about some software updates I don’t remember exactly the content of it but as a paid user why I’m having any popups when I have turn all popups OFF, you guys have to get your act together

Sorry for delay: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=209428.0

+1.Very disappointed with Avast this time.

I think updating drivers is just asking for trouble, I’m of the old school of if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it and once a driver update is screwed up it is serious.

Here I’m hoping this is a paid option as I believe RejZoR mentioned in another topic he/you can’t remove it.
EDIT:

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Someone has to talk senses to whomever is in charge at avast for this absolute nonsense, What do you guys think, you doing too well and can afford to lose customers because of your guinea pig experiments, it’s just not wise I wouldn’t get to greedy :frowning:
