Avast 17 : can't open user interface!

Hi,

Just updated Avast to v17. But now can’t open user interface : it opens then close immediately! In addition in the windows 10 taskbar icons are added. In 2 hours, there are near 15 Avast icons added… Then when we put the mouse pointer on it, it disapear then only one remains.

Any problem with v17?.. (I already have rebooted the computer)

OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)

Windows 10 home. v1607 - 14393.693
Avast 17.1.2286 (build 12.3.3154.23). Free edition
Other security: Malwarebyte (but never had any problem before updating avast to v17)

Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
Reboot.

Ok, thanks. There is no safe mode with Windows 10. I launch it in normal mode?

Launch the uninstaller, he’ll offer to start/run in safe mode.
