is it recommended to have both Avast and rkill running at the same time?
Are there no security or other interference issues?

RKill is only needed when you’re infected by malware and the program you’re using to clean it gets blocked by it or is unable to kill it. There’s no need to constantly run it…
There is no need to have rkill.
avast bootscan handles that.
