Is this safe to download and if so would I need to uninstall the version I’m using now? Avast 2012.
Stay away from avast 8…its in private beta and not meant for public use…as it can still have issues that can cause your system fatality…when avast 8 is officially released you will be notified by avast to update from UI 
I’m not talking about Avast 8 but Avast version 2013.
If you have 7.0.1474 installed then you already have the latest stable version.
Okay. I found version 2013 on the Avast website but wasn’t sure whether or not to download it. I’ll just stick with the version I have now.
Its the same avast just with the year updated to current.
