• What is the exact bsod error? It has cleared now but I used ‘Blue screen view’ which isolated Avast
  • What OS/service pack are you using? Win 7.0 Sp1 (all up to date)
  • What exact version of avast are you using? Latest version 9.XXX (I have had to uninstall but always allowed latest version)
  • Any other security software installed (or had installed)? Comodo firewall - this has co-existed with Avast for over 3 years since I have had the PC
  • Any other problems with the system? No none I always make sure PC is in top condition

Since uninstalling Avast and replacing it (hopefully temporarily) with AVG the have been no BSOD’s and system is running fine
