Avast 2014 messing with firefox

I like the new 2014 avast but its messing with my firefox and i cant find where to set the program to stop it so i have disabled it in firefox for now.
It is taking sites like craigslist when i view gallery mode it blocks the pictures unless i disable it in firefox, how can i fix that?

It is best to disable Avast Online Security.

Firefox App Menu (top left)>Add-ons>Extensions.

You can disable only the stuff you need it on the webpage to operate correctly. Just click the AOS icon in browser and see under 4 buttons which item needs to be unblocked. That’s better compared to disabling it entirely and ruining your privacy…

Is AOS for Firefox still saving its settings in the cookie ?
I don’t have it installed and I didn’t try latest version.

[font=comic sans ms]Forgive me if I’m not allowed to ask a question here. If that’s the case please educate me if I should start my own post.
I was having the same problem with Craigslist ,Discovered the fix.
Firefox /tools/add on/ -disable AOS 9.0.2011.70 . Craigslist pictures working again.
My question is does this leave me vulnerable ? What is the result of disabling? Avast Online Security 9.0.2011.70

What does this mean?

I don’t see an AOS icon in Firefox or the Craigslist webpage. Where would it be located?
Thanks for your time JB
