Time goes by, new Avast has been released…
But I still can’t register Avast from PC behind http proxy. That is sad.
It is the proxy at fault, not avast.
Don’t use a proxy and register.
I have to use the proxy.
The Update module has proxy settings and it works fine. Why the Market and the Registration/Account modules can’t have their own settings, utilize the Update’s settings or use the IE/Win settings?

Offline registration is the workaround. But it is not a solution, is it?
BTW, Last time then I tried to register using the offline method - the Avast was not able to accept the key from email. After some search I found a report on the forum regarding the broken functionality. 
I’d say it’s a solution if you’re registered afterwards.
