Avast 2015 stopping out of office

Hi,

Our outlook is connecting to our exchange server. we can send out emails and receive them. however, whenever we go to Automatic replies (Out of Office) it says that it cannot contact the server. We disable avast on the workstation and it is fixed, the system connects perfectly fine. Also noticed that if we Test auto-configuration in outlook, when avast is up, no settings get populated.

I tried a couple of settings, but could not find anything that would work.
Let me know if there is any other setting that I could test.

Ok, so it is a problem on the workstation.

What OS/SP is installed on it ?
What exact version of avast ?
