I’d like to point out a little issue I noticed since the first v2016 beta: the grey shade for the “Settings” and “Statistics” panel is different from the main window, quite surely because it has been reused from v9!! I understand it is not a critical feature for a Security Suite, nevertheless more attention to these details would be good! Especially cause many users are requesting from long time the “Statistics” and “Settings” windows to be integrated in the main window in order to have only one Avast window screen… :-\
The only thing that changed in the ‘new’ UI was the home page of the UI - the free version has a white main colour (not very nice), but it doesn’t make it look so odd.
That’s my point… they merely recycled the v9 windows 101%…
I personally like the v2016 Main UI (even if I find it somehow “empty” with everything squeezed on the top and few small text on the central part - btw!), but at least they could have aligned the grey in case of AIS, changed the “statistics” and “Settings” to white for the free version etc… just some little UI tweaks to give it a fresher look and not just copying and pasting from 3 year in a row
