Hello,
I would like to report a problem who impact me a lot.
First of all my configuration:
Windows 10 1909
Avast: 20.3.2405 (version 20.3.5200.561)
Before the last version of avast it was possible to exclude some .exe file from agent scan. (Web agent in my case)
https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Mac-Security-scan-exclusions
But now if someone want to exclude an exe file there is only one possibility:
https://support.avast.com/fr-ch/article/Antivirus-scan-exclusions
But this parameter doesn’t work for exe process … only for “not scanning this file” …
My case:
I use VMware Workstation to run virtual machine. These virtuals machines use NAT mode. (Because I need to use NAT mode, not bridge).
VMware use two exe file to process to the “NAT”:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\vmnat.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\vmnat.exe
So, I don’t want to scan the web traffic in my virtual machine, so I put these two files in the “exclusion” part BUT it’s like a “scan exclusion” not a “core shield” exclusion … The process of the exe file is still analysed by avast and I don’t want that.

Do I miss something? Do the core shield parameter is hidden somewhere ? Is there another way to doesn’t analyse process ?
Feel free to post a comment.
Thanks a lot
